For sale is an antique early 1910's GE 3-speed oscillating fan, with large 16" brass blades, in very good working condition. The fan oscillates and all 3 speeds operate at High, Medium and Low speeds very smoothly. Fan is Cat. 75424, No. AOU D 36846 and Spec. 272062-1. The base and frame are heavy cast iron, color is a factory black. Finish on the body and base is good, with some minor scuffs and scratches from normal wear. The finish on the blade cage is in great original condition, see pics. The (4) brass blades, many brass screws and other brass fittings are all in good original condition. The fan and motor tilts on the neck of the base, tilt locking screw and screw for locking the oscillating position operate smoothly.
The electric cord has been refurbished and is 8 feet long. The oscillator engaging wheel at the back engages/disengages properly. The fan has been cleaned, and as far as I can tell working properly on all 3 speeds. The total height is about 20" and the blade cage is about 17 1/4" in diameter. This beauty is located about 7 miles south of the Lynchburg, Va. Airport just off of Rt. 29s. Four3four.6six0.six6five6. I can send you a video if you like..
