For sale is this early, possibly 1930's rare confection (candy) tin. The Roser-Runkle Co. - producer of candy, cakes and cookies. The Original top is included and looks to have been sealed for many years.
Limited History: In 1899, Charles M. Roser and Henry L. Runkle started the Roser-Runkle Company on S. Detroit Street just north of the Scioto River. In about 1910, the H. L. Runkle Candy Factory was built on S. Wayne Street to replace this earlier, smaller facility. This old tin has beautiful color and is in great condition and measures about 10 1/2" tall and is about 6 1/8" dia. This tin is located about 7 miles south of the Lynchburg, Va.
