A2A2 refers to a specific genetic variant of beta-casein protein found in cow's milk. Unlike standard commercial milk (which contains a mix of A1 and A2 proteins), A2A2 milk comes exclusively from cows that naturally produce only the A2 protein, which many find significantly easier to digest. Beta-Casein accounts for about 30% of the protein in cow's milk.
